Editorial: 5 years of life meet municipal firefighters Antigua Guatemala

A few days after the five-year foundation of the Municipal Fire 

Department Worthy of Antigua Guatemala, one of the institutions most valued by the Guatemalans, who regardless of age, gender, social or economic class, have benefited from their efforts daily.

The task of firefighters goes far beyond the control of fires, a task which continue to devote much of their efforts.

That should no longer be necessary. It is interesting to note that collaboration is delivered by people with absolutely sure that the money is well spent.

The team working with the firefighters should be better and more modern. Currently, facilities generally lack adequate facilities for staff, many of its units to fight fires and are very old, and rescue vehicles are actually examples of automotive craftsmanship, to be somewhat improvised picops or panels. Despite these setbacks, they manage to provide a service to other countries not only require additional equipment but more modern.
